What kind of future are we creating for children?
I compliment you for voicing the view of the majority of the American people in your editorial "FACTS MATTER" of Dec. 28. Anyone who is old enough to remember the how, why and what caused World War II will find too many similarities in the recent course of our politics. With the election of zealots and egomaniacs to positions of power, including all forms of the media, we find ourselves questioning whether this country will continue to be governed by the rule of law, truth and empathy or by lies, false bravado, and fake prophets. My worry and concern is what kind of future are we creating for all of our children, grandchildren and their children who will eventually have to face the consequences of what we have done to this country now and in the near future?
