Reid's 3-pointer at buzzer gives Schaumburg Christian 1st regional title

Summer Reid hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer as Schaumburg Christian's girls basketball team won the first regional championship in program history, defeating host Harvest Christian 45-44 in a Class 1A final in Elgin Friday night.

Schaumburg Christian (18-8) moves on to the Hinckley-Big Rock sectional, where it will face Newark on Tuesday.
