Barrington Area Conservation Trust fundraiser Aug. 31

Nonprofit Barrington Area Conservation Trust will host Tartans for the Trust, a new festival set from 3 to 7 p.m. Aug. 31.

The Barrington Hills Park District Riding Club, 361 Bateman Road, will be transformed to the Highlands to include bagpipes, pub bands, games and activities for all ages. Traditional Celtic music will be played at the fest.

Tickets are $100 per person, with guests 17 and younger free and required to be accompanied by an adult. For more information and tickets, check bactrust.org.
