Letter: It's critical to pass climate bill

The Inflation Reduction Act has received the support of Joe Manchin and now has the approval of Kyrsten Sinema. This bill must pass Congress. Among other things, it contains significant legislation to combat climate change. While the bill is not perfect in this regard, or any other, it would still be the most comprehensive climate change legislation passed in this country and would set an example for other industrialized nations. We are running out of time to meaningfully impact human-caused climate change, and it would be a travesty to let this opportunity pass.
