Go barefoot in the snow for a good cause

In an effort to raise money for a Free To Be Me Inclusive Playground, the Bartlett Parks Foundation is challenging residents to stand barefoot in the snow Jan. 17 at Villa Olivia.

Participants, who will seek donations for their efforts, will get their picture taken, and can drink hot chocolate indoors when they're done. The event begins at noon.
