Westminster Christian, Burlington Central win big

Maddie Versluys scored 34 points and added 7 rebounds and 7 steals Monday leading Westminster Christian to a 50-33 win over Mooseheart.

Versluys now has 1,708 career points. Emily Lamp scored 9 points for Westminster (7-10) while Hannah Haecker grabbed 9 rebounds.

Burlington Central 69, Marengo 29: The Rockets (14-1, 6-0) won their 43rd straight Big Northern East game, and with 13 points Kayla Ross improved her career total to 973. Sam Pryor (17 points) and Madison Hodgson (10) also reached double figures.

South Elgin 58, Willowbrook 51: The Storm (13-5) won behind a 29-point game from Bridgette Williams, who sank 9 of 11 free throws. Nadia Yang scored 17 points.
