Softball: Mangler's 4 hits pace Warren

Sophomore Brooke Mangler went 4-for-5 with a double and 3 RBI, junior Carissa Topolinski homered and doubled, and Warren beat host Marengo 17-5 in nonconference softball action Saturday.

The Blue Devils' other offensive contributors included senior Ashlynn Kitter (2-for-4, 2 RBI), sophomore Kassie Jimenez (2-for-4, double), senior Caityln Britton (double), senior Anna Kraemer (2 RBI) and junior Kayla Hopkins (2 RBI).

The Central Michigan-bound Britton pitched a 6-inning complete game, allowing 1 earned run.
