Thanks for vote to fund schools

As a parent, I do everything I can to give my child the best possible chance in life in all that he does. At the end of the day, I want to rest assured that the school I send my child to every day is fully funded.

As such, I want to thank Rep. Sam Yingling for voting to fully fund our schools, which means an additional $7 million for our area schools.

I also want to commend Rep. Yingling for making sure the education funding reform legislation included a "first step" toward real property tax relief for local homeowners, like my wife and me. With property taxes rising each year, I applaud Rep. Yingling for fighting for, and coming through on, his promise to help lower property taxes.
