Baseball: Wheeling tops Waukegan

Cade Zalewski and Michael Best tripled as Wheeling's baseball team defeated Waukegan Monday 3-1 in a nonconference game.

Best had 2 RBI in the game while Spencer Nowak added a double.

Matthew Patterson worked five innings on the mound to earn the win for the Wildcats. He allowed 3 hits with 1 earned run, 5 strikeouts and a walk. Nowak picked up the save.
