Hanover Park's annual Car & Motorcycle show to be held Sunday

The Village of Hanover Park's annual Car & Motorcycle show is from 12-4 p.m. this Sunday, Aug. 5, at the Hanover Park Metra Station at Barrington Road and Lake Street. The village teamed up with the Hanover Park Resource Coalition to organize the event, held to raise funds for positive alternatives for youth.

To display your vehicle at the car show, register the day of the event for $20 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The first 200 car registrants will get a free T-shirt. All cars qualify for grand prize trophies and cash prizes for Best of Show, Best of Engine and Best Paint categories. Trophies will be awarded by class. This free event is open to the public. Entertainment will be provided throughout the day, with live music by The Stingers, food and a 50/50 raffle.
