Financial help for Lake County renters

Lake County renters who face financial hardship related to COVID-19 may apply for the new Lake County Federal Emergency Rental Assistance Program to help pay rent and/or utility bills.

Income-eligible households may receive up to 12 months of past due rent and up to three months of assistance with future rent, but no more than 12 months of assistance total.

Payments from the program will be made directly to landlords and/or utility companies. Visit lakecountyil.gov/4578/Federal-Emergency-Rental-Assistance-Prog.
