Prospect Heights woman wins Unsung Heroine Award

Agnes Wojnarski has won the Cook County Commission on Women's Issues Unsung Heroine Award for her work as the chairman of the Prospect Heights Natural Resources Commission. She was nominated by Mayor Nick Helmer, who credited her and members of the commission with rooting out invasive species and returning open spaces to their natural splendor.
