Wauconda ice cream social

The Wauconda Township Historical Society hosts its seconda annual ice cream social Sunday, Aug. 28, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Andrew C. Cook House, 711 N. Main St., Wauconda. The event will feature ice cream, pie and lemonade, vintage children's games, strolling songs and music provided by the Wauconda High School chorale group, tours of the Cook House and more.
