Palatine Library board looks to fill vacancy

The Palatine Public Library board is taking applications for new board member, to fill the seat vacated this week by member Jeanne Grace. The appointee will fill the seat until the consolidated election on April 4, 2017.

Applications are available at www.palatinelibrary.org or at the Palatine Public Library, 700 N. North Court. Those interested should email Board President Karen Reshkin at kreshkin@palatinelibrary.org or mail the completed application to her at the library, no later than 5 p.m. Friday, July 29.

Applicants will be interviewed by the Board of Library Trustees on Aug. 9.
