Music director will be honored for 60 years with Libertyville church

A special concert will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17, in the sanctuary at United Methodist Church of Christ, 429 Brainerd Ave., Libertyville to honor Jim Grace's 60th year as a staff member. Grace began working at the church in September 1959 as the cherub choir director and since has served in every music staff position. He currently is the music director and organist. The event will feature music by the adult choir, heritage bells and men's quartet. Grace will play an organ solo and an organ/piano duet with Jane Orth.
