COVID-19 hypocrisy

I wonder if our president sees the hypocrisy in his explanation for downplaying the dangers of COVID-19? Probably not. He berated President Xi and China for not disclosing early warnings and critical information regarding the virus. Then what does our president do? The same thing. Trump claims Xi was acting to the detriment of the American people, while Trump claims he was acting in the best interests of the American people.
