Maine West’s annual Warrior Con set for Saturday

Comic book fans — and comic book writers and artists — will converge on Maine West High School in Des Plaines on Saturday for the third annual Warrior Con.

The gathering will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the school, 1755 S. Wolf Road. Parking is available in the lot behind the school. Enter through the main bus concourse.

Exhibitors will include Chicago-area comic book creators Art Baltazar, Russell Lissau, Matthew Hansel, Brian Lynch and Don Cardenas. A variety of collectibles vendors will set up, too.

Admission is $5. Proceeds will benefit the Maine West Fine Arts Boosters.
