Recycling center work finished early

The Fabyan Recycling Center at 517 E. Fabyan Parkway in Geneva is reopening Nov. 9, several weeks ahead of schedule, after a driveway and parking lot improvement project.

Previously scheduled pop-up events near the center have been canceled, Kane County announced on Thursday.

The county also announced the center will be closed Nov. 11 for the Veterans Day holiday.
