Construction to cause lane closures beginning Monday on Randall Road in Elgin

Work is scheduled to begin Monday, Nov. 9, on the Claude Hanson Bridge on Randall Road in Elgin between Royal Boulevard and Big Timber Road.

During construction, Randall Road will be reduced to one open lane in each direction. The expansion joint replacement work will generally take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday for approximately six weeks.

The bridge spans the Union Pacific Railroad, Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railway and Tyler Creek.
