The Oak Brook Park District is partnering with Oakbrook Orthodontics to collect leftover Halloween candy through Nov. 5, turning extra treats into support for the Apparao (Rao) Devata Memorial Fund.

For every pound of candy collected, Oakbrook Orthodontics will donate $1 to the fund. Community members can drop off leftover Halloween candy at either of the following Oak Brook Park District locations:

• Family Recreation Center: 1450 Forest Gate Road, Oak Brook

• Tennis Center: 1300 Forest Gate Road, Oak Brook

Students at Brook Forest Elementary School and Butler Junior High School can also participate by bringing their leftover Halloween candy to school for collection.

The Oak Brook Park District appreciates Oakbrook Orthodontics, participating schools, and community members for supporting this effort and helping turn leftover Halloween candy into a meaningful contribution.
