Driving instructor gets 30 years for sexual assault, abuse of teen student
An instructor at a driving school was sentenced Wednesday to 30 years in prison for sexually assaulting a teenage student, according to Kane County court records.
Paul Bocska, 60, of the 2000 block of Marlowe Boulevard, St. Charles, was convicted in April 2025 of 12 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and four counts of criminal sexual assault.
He was accused of abusing the victim, a student at the DriveNow Driving School, in April and May 2021. The girl was under the age of 17.
Bocska was free on a $5,000 bond before his trial. He skipped the trial.
He was found in Hungary and spent more than a year in jail there awaiting extradition. He was returned to Kane County in September.
