Kane County judges to host 23rd annual Family Reading Night

On Wednesday, Nov. 18, the Kane County Law Library and the 16th Judicial Circuit will offer the 23rd annual Family Reading Night with the Judges.

The event will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Kane County Law Library & Self Help Legal Center on the second floor of the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38 in St. Charles.

Kane County judges Reginald Campbell, Julio César Valdez and Andrea Zenker will read their favorite bedtime stories to children in second grade and younger. Enjoy stories, snacks and laughter, then take a tour of a courtroom. Children must be accompanied by an adult — and pajamas are encouraged. The judges will be wearing theirs!

Family Reading Night is a statewide annual event sponsored by Illinois Secretary of State and State Librarian Alexi Giannoulias and the Illinois Center for the Book.
