Kane County Recycling Center in Geneva for month-long renovations starting Oct. 19

The Kane County Recycling Center, located at 517 E. Fabyan Parkway in Geneva, will temporarily close Monday, Oct. 19, for driveway paving and other site improvements.

The closure is expected to last approximately one month, with reopening anticipated in mid-November.

During the temporary closure, residents can find alternative recycling locations in the Tri-Cities area through the Kane County Recycling Program’s online guide: kanecountyil.gov/Recycling/Pages/Fabyan_Repaving.aspx.

Updates and confirmation of the reopening date will be posted on the county’s recycling website and Kane County social media channels and shared through the Kane County Connects newsletter.
