Prisco’s Family Market in Aurora to celebrate 100th anniversary

Prisco’s Family Market in Aurora will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a special ceremony attended by city leaders Friday, Oct. 16 at noon.

The event at 1108 Prairie Street will feature remarks from Aurora Mayor John Laesch, state Rep. Barbara Hernandez, Fourth Ward Alderman Jonathan Núñez, and Prisco’s owner Andy Gazauskas, in addition to specialty vendors, a free hot dog giveaway and an ongoing 100th anniversary sale.

Prisco’s, now in its fourth generation of family ownership, was established in 1926 by Italian immigrants Tony and Mary Prisco.
