A problem the governor helped create
Gov. Pritzker talks about the problems Chicago has experienced on account of the enforcement of immigration laws, but this is a problem he helped create.
Texas wanted to erect barriers to curtail the illegal immigration, but the federal government would not allow it, so Texas bused these people to sanctuary cities that would accept them. When these people were sleeping on the floors of police stations, Texas kept sending us more, and Pritzker kept accepting them. He never said that we were at capacity and would not accept more. It's only understandable that enforcement would take place where the number of those in violation of the law are present.
And if that weren't bad enough, taxpayers have had to pay the expenses associated with the care for these immigrants and now, the cost of enforcement.
