A North Chicago man faces charges alleging he threatened two co-workers with a gun, hit one, and damaged a vehicle with a baseball bat in a Buffalo Grove parking lot Friday evening, police said.
Javier Castillo-Pedraza, 28, is charged with one felony count of criminal damage to property, two misdemeanor counts of aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery, authorities say.
According to Buffalo Grove police, officers responded to a disturbance at about 7:45 p.m. in the parking lot of a business in the 1700 block of Leider Lane after an argument escalated.
No injuries were reported, police said.
Castillo-Pedraza was later located by North Chicago police officers, who also recovered the handgun and baseball bat police believe were used during the alleged offenses, police said.
