Palatine police seeking help locating missing woman

Palatine police are asking for help in finding a 24-year-old woman reported missing on Wednesday.

Alyssa M. Smith may have been seen in the Grant Park area of Chicago on Saturday, as well as in the area of Cicero Avenue and Roosevelt Road on the city’s West Side, police said.

Detectives are following up on the reports and asking anyone who may have seen Smith recently or has information on her location to contact police.

Smith is 5 feet 5 inches tall and 135 to 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, police said. She has multiple piercings and numerous tattoos, including a “Pennywise” clown tattoo on her left shoulder.

She is believed to have last been wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light khaki-colored pants or sweatpants, and white Adidas shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Palatine police detectives at (847) 359-9000, their local law enforcement agency or 911.
