New trustee to join Lake Barrington village board

Lake Barrington resident Jeff Williams is scheduled to be sworn in as a new village trustee on Tuesday.

The ceremony is planned for the evening’s board meeting, which is scheduled for 7 p.m. at village hall, 23860 N. Old Barrington Road.

Williams will succeed Peter Schallmoser, who stepped down last month.

Williams has chaired the village’s plan commission and zoning board of appeals since 2017.
