Tour Downers Grove sewage plant at open house Saturday

The Downers Grove Sanitary District is having an open house from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 3, at its sewage treatment plant.

Visitors can tour the plant, speak with a biosolids expert, explore equipment and trucks, and view interactive exhibits and displays.

The plant is at 5003 Walnut Ave., Downers Grove.
