St. Charles Business Alliance and St. Charles launch New Business Guide

The St. Charles Business Alliance and city of St. Charles have partnered to create a New Business Guide for businesses looking to open in St. Charles.

The New Business Guide was created to assist businesses with information such as setting up utilities, permitting and license information, potential grants and more.

St. Charles Business Alliance Executive Director Jenna Sawicki said the guide was another collaboration between the city and the alliance.

“As St. Charles continues to grow and welcome new businesses, we want to make it as easy as possible for them to get connected and feel supported,” Sawicki said. “This guide puts the information, resources and contacts they need in one place, while helping them become part of the St. Charles business community from day one.”

Deputy City Administrator Derek Conley said the guide is part of the city’s efforts to highlight St. Charles as a business-friendly community.

“The city is committed to finding ways to support our business community,” Conley said. “The New Business Guide is another addition to these efforts as it will not only assist businesses that are looking to open here, but also hopefully entice other businesses to come to St. Charles.”
