Fetch some fun at Rolling Meadows’ Bark in the Park
Rolling Meadows Park District is inviting the community to let the dogs out at Bark in the Park from 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Varsity Field, 3900 Owl Drive.
The event will feature an agility course, ball pit, doggy pools, a “Starbarks” Puppuccino Bar and themed photo opportunities.
Sponsors for the event include A-J & H Transmission, Arlington Park Veterinary Hospital, Golf Rose Animal Services and Village Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank.
Located behind Nelson Sports Complex, Varsity Field offers the perfect space for a morning of running, playtime and tail wagging.
“Bark in the Park is such a great time for pups and people alike,” Recreation Supervisor for Events & Community Engagement Sydney Szukala said. “The dogs love to socialize with other dogs and get out their energy. It’s also an excellent chance to meet other dog owners in the community.”
Bark in the park is a free, drop-in event. Attendees are encouraged to bring a monetary donation for local shelters and pet charities.
