Inconsistency on rules

It seems the Left has trouble when compelled to follow rules. People erroneously believe that if rules have been ignored or dismissed for years they have been officially changed. Not true. Politicians and the media have quietly done this with immigration laws and now FCC equal time rules. Now, when it's made known the rules still apply, they pretend it's something new.
