Water main replacement begins Thursday in Palatine

Drivers can expect occasional delays on Baldwin Road in Palatine beginning Thursday, when work is scheduled to begin on installation of a new water main between Hidden Creek Circle and Inverrary Lane.

The construction project is anticipated to be complete in October, depending on weather.

Baldwin Road will be accessible, but at times there will be traffic delays due to the construction activities. The northbound lane of Baldwin from north of Inverrary Lane to north of Hidden Creek Circle will be closed for the duration of the project. Two-way traffic will be maintained in the southbound and center lanes.
