Des Plaines man reports debit card fraud to police
Someone fraudulently used a Des Plaines resident’s debit card information to make three ATM withdrawals totaling $800 and make purchases in the Chicago area, police said Wednesday.
The fraud reportedly occurred Sunday, police said in a news release. The victim learned of the activity after receiving an alert from his bank.
The fraudulent purchases occurred in Niles, Rosemont, and Chicago, police said.
