Route 47 closing Wednesday near Sugar Grove

Northbound drivers on Route 47 near Sugar Grove should come up with alternate routes Wednesday.

The Illinois Department of Transportation will be temporarily closing northbound Route 47 near Route 30 starting at 9 a.m. as part of a project to repair the Route 30 bridge.

Detours will be provided and work should wrap up at 4 p.m.
