Mobile emissions testing event Sept. 12 in Palatine

The Illinois Air Team Vehicle Emissions Testing Program will host a mobile testing event from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 in Palatine.

The pop-up emissions testing will take place at Community Park, 340 E. Palatine Road.

In order to receive an emissions test, motorists need to have received a test notice or registration renewal notice that shows an emissions test is required. Motorists can use the Vehicle Eligibility Check Tool at https://www.ilairteam.net/vehicle-eligibility-check-tool by entering their vehicle identification number or license plate number to identify if their vehicles are eligible to test.
