Hoffman Estates’ Summer Hang rescheduled to Aug. 26

Hoffman Estates’ weather-canceled Hello Hoffman Summer Hang has been rescheduled to take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26 at South Ridge Park to provide input that will help the village’s planning team shape the next 20 years for the community.

Residents are invited to mix summer fun and community planning with yard games, snow cones, interactive activities and the chance to make their voices heard.

The Hello Hoffman Comprehensive and Strategic Plan project has moved to the “Phase 2 — Where Do We Want to Go?” stage with a focus on big questions like: “What are our values?,” “What kind of community do we want to be?” and “What does the future of Hoffman Estates look like?”

Hello Hoffman “Phase 1- Where Are We Now?” work, which includes an existing conditions report, was presented to the village board last month.
