Dogs hammered by Gary SouthShore

The Chicago Dogs lost 25-2 to Gary SouthShore on Tuesday.

Chicago scored its two runs on seven hits. The runs came in the eighth and ninth innings, at a point when the game was already out of reach.

Jaxx Groshans homered in the eighth inning to get Chicago on the board, and Chance Sisco singled home Derek Maiben in the ninth. Despite managing only two runs, seven players in Chicago’s starting lineup made it on base via a walk or hit.
