Lee Street in Des Plaines closing for railroad work

A stretch of Lee Street in downtown Des Plaines will be shut down to traffic starting Monday morning for railroad track and pavement repairs.

Lee will be closed between Ellinwood and Miner streets through 5 p.m. Aug. 27, according to a city news release.

Union Pacific Railroad will do the work.
