Qualities of Fox River recognized

I was so glad to read recently about how good the Fox River is. This article referred to the Midwest Living publication as the source.

It said our Fox River ranks as one of the nine best for paddling and boat trips in the Midwest.

It also reports that the 40-mile river runs through Elgin, then through the Tri Cities, then down to Oswego and Yorkville. It also travels alongside several forest preserves, and under six bridges. The Fox River in the Midwest was ranked along with the Chippewa River in Michigan, Tippecanoe in Indiana, Apple River in Wisconsin, and the Cuyahoga in Ohio and several others.
