Suburbs under severe storm watch until 2 p.m.

The suburbs are under a severe thunderstorm watch until 2 p.m. today.
An intense, fast-moving line of storms capable of producing destructive winds, brief tornadoes, hail and flash flooding is possible between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., the National Weather Service in Chicago is forecasting.
Wind gusts of 80 miles per hour are possible, along with damaging hail.
