DuPage seeking residents’ input on ride services

The DuPage County Division of Transportation and the Regional Transportation Authority are seeking community input through their Demand Responsive Study, a survey that aims to improve on-demand ride services for county residents.

Demand response transportation is a flexible public transit option that allows vehicles to operate based on specific passenger needs rather than following a schedule. Examples include, Lyft, Uber, Ride DuPage and others.

They are seeking community input to learn about ride share users, preferences and customer satisfaction with service and reliability.

All county residents are encouraged to participate in the survey and follow the study's progress on the LinkUpDuPage website, linkupdupage.org. The survey is open through Aug. 17, and participants will have the chance to win one of two $100 Visa gift cards.
