Lombard reschedules its America’s 250 Fireworks show to Labor Day weekend

Celebrate America's 250th anniversary with the village's America 250 Fireworks Display at Madison Meadow Park! Originally scheduled for July 4, the event has been rescheduled to Sunday, Sept. 6, following heavy rainfall that left park grounds too saturated to safely host the event.

Residents and visitors are invited to gather with family and friends over Labor Day weekend for an evening of community celebration to commemorate America's 250th anniversary.

The fireworks display will begin at dusk, approximately 8 p.m., or once the sky is completely dark over Madison Meadow Park, 500 E. Wilson Ave. The final event timing and additional details will be confirmed as the event approaches.
