Reject one-size-fits-all Farm Bill

At Wanda Farms, we raise beef, pork, poultry, and eggs because we believe responsible farming earns the trust of our customers. Every day, we work to produce high-quality food while caring for our animals and the land.

That's why we're urging Congress to keep the Save Our Bacon Act out of the next Farm Bill.

The name of this bill hides a dark reality. It would actually override certain state agricultural standards for livestock products sold across state lines. The Farm Bill should strengthen American agriculture, not expand federal control over decisions that have traditionally been made by individual states.

Family farmers need policies that support rural communities, encourage innovation, and help protect livestock from serious disease threats. We don't need a one-size-fits-all approach from Washington, D.C.

We respectfully ask Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth to oppose any Farm Bill (or any other legislative packages) containing the Save Our Bacon Act, and instead support legislation that allows responsible family farms to continue earning the confidence of consumers.
