Elgin seeks resident feedback with new survey on city services

Elgin is conducting a resident survey to measure satisfaction with city services and to gauge community priorities for the future.

The survey at elginsurvey.org, which takes 10 to 15 minutes to complete and is offered in English and Spanish, asks about satisfaction with services including public safety, parks and recreation, code compliance, public works, communication and customer service. The survey also includes questions about community identity, quality of life and residents' perceptions of Elgin.

Results will be presented to the Elgin City Council this fall and shared publicly on the city's website, along with an interactive dashboard that allows residents to explore the findings.

Results from the 2021 Community Survey are available at ElginIL.gov/CommunitySurvey.
