GOP is in trouble after Trump
I don't think that the Republican Party will survive after the Trump presidency. When the assessment of the damage done to the country by this administration is totaled up, the spineless congressional Republicans will own the responsibility for enabling, abetting and allowing the destruction to the U.S. inflicted by this president.
Most administrations would have a career 3 or 4 star general to run the Dept. of Defense. We have Hegseth, who has no idea what is the purpose of Dept. of Defense. He has weakened the U.S. military by removing a dozen top generals and admirals because they won't blindly support the Trump agenda.
Our enemies, and our allies, cannot believe how this administration is hollowing out the U.S. military. Most administrations would have a medical professional to run the Department of Health; we have a non-medical anti-vaxxer. Most administrations would have a career professional as director of national intelligence; we have a real estate developer mega donor.
We could go down the list of Trump's cabinet, each one as incompetent and unqualified as the rest. Marco Rubio, who would rather wear shoes three sizes too large than tell his boss he needs to exchange them. Trump was one of Epstein's best friends, of course he knew what he did, and, at the very least, Trump did nothing to help any of those kids. No other country on Earth would allow someone with as deep a history with Epstein, and who also paid a $5.8 million judgment for sexual assault, remain in public office.
Trump has nothing but contempt for Americans. One could not lie so completely and so often if they did not have complete contempt for everyone in the audience. He is an enemy of what I conceive the United States to be.
