Lake Country doubles up Chicago Dogs

The Chicago Dogs dropped the first game of their series against the Lake Country Dockhounds 14-7 at Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, on Friday evening.

The Dogs got off to a hot start offensively as All-Star catcher Jaxx Groshans drove in his fellow All-Star Ethan Wilder with an RBI single to make it 1-0 in the top of the first. Jacob Maiben followed with a two-run single to drive in Groshans and Chance Sisco to make it 3-0. Sisco extended the lead to five in the top of the second with a two-run home run that brought home Wilder.
