Beach Boys reschedule upcoming RiverEdge concert to Aug. 21, 2027

Music fans looking forward to some good vibrations from the The Beach Boys concert scheduled for Friday, Aug. 14, at Aurora’s RiverEdge Park will have to wait until 2027. The band announced today that it’s taking a short break and is rescheduling the Aurora concert for Saturday, Aug. 21, 2027.

The band posted a message to fans saying: “Playing for you is the highlight of our summer every year — especially as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States while saluting the 60th Anniversary of ‘Pet Sounds.’ We’ve been having a blast out there, and to keep the good vibrations going strong, we’ll be taking a short break to recharge before getting back on the road in September. … Thanks for your understanding — we can’t wait to see you back out there.”

Tickets will be transferred to the new concert date. If ticket holders are unable to attend, they have until May 1, 2027, to request a credit or refund or to donate the ticket back to RiverEdge Park by calling the box office at (630) 896-6666 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
