Lombard announces rescheduled date for America 250 fireworks display

Lombard will hold its rescheduled America 250 fireworks display on Sunday, Sept. 6, at Madison Meadow Park at 500 E. Wilson Ave.

Village officials said the display was postponed after heavy rainfall left park grounds too saturated to safely accommodate a large gathering and the equipment required to set up the fireworks display on July 4. Additional event details, including parking restrictions and viewing areas, will be shared as the event approaches.
