Thank you to drivers who consider others
Me. Me. Me. All four of my tires are over the white line at this light? I didn’t even realize.
Me. Me. Me. I’m blocking an intersection? I don’t see any emergency vehicles nearby. And I need to get through on this light.
Me. Me. Me. I crossed a solid white/yellow line? So, what? I have places to go.
Me. Me. Me. I didn’t stop for a stop sign? There’s nobody coming.
Me. Me. Me. Speed limit? I’m going to be late.
Me. Me. Me. Yes, I merged into your lane. You couldn’t tell? The turn indicator is just for corners.
It’s sad and scary that the perceived need of the one does not take into account the safety of the many.
Thank you to everyone who stops at stop signs and red lights.
Thank you to everyone who uses their turn signals to change lanes, merge and indicate that you will be turning.
Thank you to everyone who leaves adequate space at intersections for emergency vehicles to get through, should they need to.
Thank you to everyone who waits until they get to the turn lane before trying to get into it and doesn’t drive over solid white and yellow lines.
Thank you to everyone who drives a reasonable and safe speed.
